What data does JetDex keep about me?

The short version:

• For each catch we store the flight, the time and an approximate place, to build your globe, awards and leaderboards.
• Your display name, username, catches and scores are visible to your friends; your name and score can appear on city, country and global leaderboards.
• Your exact location is used to find planes and is not kept with your identity.
• If you upload contacts, the server turns each phone number into a keyed fingerprint and stores only that, never the numbers or names.
• No ads, no data sales, no tracking cookies. The website counts visits with cookie-free, aggregate statistics.

The full details, including who processes data for us and how long we keep it, are in the privacy policy.
